How high can you fly? A Northern Soul Selection

This is a selection of some of my favorite Soul tunes, recorded in a one-take, cut directly from original 45s. Some R&B, some classic Northern, some Crossover and some Beat Ballads.

The name of the mix »How high can you fly?« refers to the second tune in this Podcast. It came out under two different names on two different Labels:
1. »How high can you fly« by Willie Small on the Jessica Label and
2. »Say you will« by Curtis Smith on the Essica Label.
It’s a bit complicated: The second one (on the Essica Label) is obviously a spelling mistake, because when you listen to the lyrics, you’ll hear »How high can you fly«.
Apart from these two 45s there is another »Say you will« from Curtis Smith on the DOMA Label, wich is a completely different song.
Did I confuse you? Nevermind, don’t think too long and just have a good time.
So show me, how high YOU can fly on the dancefloor!
