I’ve titled this mix “Christmas Came Early” because when Biden became the president elect, it felt like opening the biggest present you put on your Christmas list. So my mix is a selection of tracks that I played the night that Trump was voted out of office. I wanted to celebrate with my home country from afar, so during the CNN commercial breaks, I would play empowering tracks and dance around my apartment in pure bliss. These songs are slaps in Trump’s face, hope for the future, and feel-good anthems for celebration.
