Here’s a mixtape of heavy funk and disco taken from Blaxploitation, Porn and Library soundtracks from the 70’s.
One song wasn’t featured on a soundtrack. Guess which one.
Enjoy

Volume 45 of #TheSoulMixtape features some NU Jazz in the form of Banks of Four and some great Soul/Folk/Jazz courtesy of Lani Hall, Hip Hop via Black Moon and the UK’s own TY, R’N’B via a Timbaland production of Jazmine Sullivan and the independent spirit of Daru, Gwenn Bunn and Cherri Prince. Top that off with a heavy dose of Funk care of The Meters and Marie “Queenie” Lyons plus much more.

Hot Chocolate and Electric Light Orchestra in the Mix.

Funktioniert erstaunlich gut :)
