Remember when Sizzla came out with the Black Woman & Child album?

I wanted to dedicate this show to all the empress.

I start off with a Shabba Ranks on the same riddim. I remember first hearing this tune first on a Stone Love live mix around 96. At the time it was very difficult to find the 7″ at the time so until recently i was not able to play the tune. Dada’s cut goes into a dubplate version on the Queen of the Ministrel riddim. The dubz on this riddim were all in spired by Randy Valentine’s Poor Mans Loving. I always loved the Sizzla tune and being from India i was keen to have a version dedicated to all the Indian empress. Begum X recorded the back up vocals for both the Sizzla and the Jah Mason cut and I now prefer the dub to the 45. Apart from this, the mix contains a lot of Xterminator productions and goes into some Channel One style rub-a-dub towards the second half. Enjoy …
