I did this mix for summer vibes or just to enjoy jazzy house by St-Germain, soul and blues samples he used in his songs as well as covers of his tracks and remixes. St-Germain has been at the forefront of electronic music for a long time, starting with Acid Eiffel in 1993 under the moniker Choice, one of the best EP of techno, then later he became a pioneer of french touch, he released Boulevard in 1995 but also a string of EP’s on F Communications (Laurent Garnier’s label) as early as 1993. He achieved massive commercial success in 2000 with the album Tourist on the legendary label Blue note. He returned in 2015 with a self-titled album on the label Warner.

Introducing: HELLO SALLY - Too Close (Video) // + full stream "Leave This World Behind" EP

Some of the greatest battles will be fought within the silent chambers of your own soul.

Some of the greatest battles will be fought within the silent chambers of your own soul.

We all have a role to play. Whether you have children or not, you are a parent to the next generation. There are many challenges to address, things that we must face, battles we will win, lose but ultimately learn from. To aspire to be the best ‚YOU‘ that you could possibly be without apology takes discipline, heart, endurance, commitment, willpower, dedication, tanicity, direction, diligence, consistency, faith, truth and realness. There are many things we fight for since we successfully won the initial race for life…so now we’re here, now what? What choices have to be made whilst we are here? Who do these choices effect? What are the implications of that choice? How responsible are we for them? How many fights are we going to have before we understand y/our own truth, find y/our own Peace of mind, feel the need to fight for someone else, empower y/ourself or focus on it’s very importance in order to stand for something that can be both seen as well as unseen? Train yourself …by yourself…in order to find your true self which indirectly (without intention), encourages others to think about doing the same…in life and in general. Guidance is inevitable, the voice, that voice, the clarity, the stillness of thought, as well as the humility to accept that whatever position we find ourselves in, whatever opportunity arises from it, what did we actually fight for…and why? So let’s picture being 12 years of age, training alone at home and also regularly with a team, encouraged to train with people over twice my age…would that then mean I have to think about life twice as much? If I am a Gold Medallist and apply that same dedication academically and creatively as a multi instrumentalist, should I continue to fight for that top spot or pot-of-gold or just quit whilst ahead which is the easiest option although getting this far actually wasn’t? Can having something to fight for and fighting for something still bring peace of mind? Who knows… personally don’t have all the answers, yet seeing feeling hearing and doing what we can with what we have is paramount. „Use only that which works, and take it from any place you can find it. Courage doesn’t always roar.“

Fight. Fight it.
Because what’s killing me, just has to be killing you too?
Fight it. Fight it.
Taking without giving, yet we’re forgiving your untruths.

Taking what you need out of greed we believed we were equal.
Statistics and numbers you see not family or people.
It’s nice to be important but more important to be nice.
Solidarity and transparency creates the up-rise.

You’re sleeping so soundly yet evil’s surrounding your whole soul
I look all around me, our people are hungry and still cold.
This critical state is our fate not ‚political‘ statements.
And those decision makers are fake and their promises weightless.

Fight. Fight it.
Because what’s killing me, just has to be killing you too?
Fight it. Fight it.
Taking without giving, yet we’re forgiving your untruths.
