I wanted to create a multi-genre mix looking back on 2016, but not a best-of list, more so pulling tracks that can blend seamlessly well while transitioning genres and song feel. Not an easy feat, as there were a lot of great releases this year, between records or digital singles/albums I copped and vast amount of promo releases I get through an entire year, via a few promo pools. It took a minute to get the BLENDS just right in selection as well as context of vocals atop tracks. Thanks in advance for listening and I hope you find some new artists to follow. Props to every artist and friend on this mix, keep making the music we can live to.
