Anläßlich des diesjährigen Record Store Days am 25. November, wird der Issac Hayes Klassiker ‚Do Your Thing‘  aus dem Jahr 1972 noch einmal neu veröffentlicht.
Es handelt sich um eine bisher unveröffentlichte 33 Minuten (!) lange Aufnahme aus dem Jahr 1971, die Isaac Hayes mit den Bar-Kays eingespielt hat.

Die ersten 22 Minuten von ‚Do Your Thing‘  gibt es hier im Stream, das Gesamtpaket wird es vorerst nur auf Vinyl geben.

Contains bonus rhythm section instrumental and booklet detailing the history of this never-before-heard version of one of Isaac Hayes‘ most famous songs by Hayes historian Bill Dahl.
