BRUSH STROKES brings the classic sounds of jazz rhythms, vibes, and instrumentation into the world of hip-hop. Freak Tha Monsta crafted the boom bap soundscape that jumps around from the fast-paced heist adventure to the sultry love letter to the empowering, uplifting anthem, and so on. Freak and Miggs offer the familiar NY lyricism and are joined by the soulful MothaBug on vocals. The three weave in and out of Freak’s dynamic jazzy production to create a flavorful collection of tracks. Basslines throughout are provided by Jeff DeRosa.
